This is a new wine as it is a blend of 60% Syrah from our home ranch, Bassi and 40% Grenache from a young block at Bassi, blended with Grenache from Rancho Arroyo Grande by Lopez Lake in the southern point of the SLO Coast AVA. The two varieties were co-fermented, the Syrah was kept 100% whole cluster and the Grenache was fully destemmed onto the top of the fermentation. The grapes fermented with native yeast for 3 weeks and then were pressed in our wooden basket press.
