Rise has changed hands, but it is still located in\u0026lt;em\u0026gt; St. Croix\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; where they acquire fresh molasses distillate from the famous \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Cruzan Distillery\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; on Saint Thomas to age and blend in the creation of a full range of Rums, from youthful mixing Rums through \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;super-premium sippers.\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;At the end of the 19th century, exhibitions were a big deal in Europe. One of them was the \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Nordic exhibition of Industry, Agriculture, and Art of 1888\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; that took place in Copenhagen. It’s also the exhibition where A.H. Riise Rum \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;won Gold\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;. More than 130 years have passed and A.H. Riise has won plenty of other Gold medals, but this one is still special.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;em\u0026gt;A.H.
