Their Master Blender is currently \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Sandy Hyslop \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;(their fifth ever) and he’s making sure the brand’s belief in \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;“Staying True”\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; remains sacred.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Ballantine’s 17-year-old 40%\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; isn’t just a watered down original 17YO, although it has a slightly lower ABV (the regular expression is bottled at 43%). This \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;marvelous blend \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;is bright and smooth that will make you a recidivist (in the best possible way).
