The palate is finely structured with supple tannins and bright balancing acidity. Ripe plum and blackberry fruit lead to long, savoury finish with a typically Italian bitter cherry twist.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Produced from fruit grown in the Valle del Sarca, on loose stony-limestone soils which benefit from the warm wind coming from Lake Garda. Lagrein prefers warm, sheltered areas and produces wine of noteworthy concentration and complexity. Traditionally vinified at 28-29 degrees C with long maceration on the skins in small stainless steel tanks.
