Chateau Barbebelle has a wine-friendly terroir with a pleasant climate and a soil consisting of clayey limestone.The white ‘Cuvée Madeleine’ has been created on the basis of own grapes; 60% role and 20% sauvignon blanc and 20% ugni blanc.After the harvest at night, the grapes are cooled down and undergo a cool pressing and light maceration before temperature-controlled cold fermentation in stainless steel. Further storage also takes place in steel tanks.Aroma and taste have a clean and fine fruit with white-floral measures in an aromatic style that is democratically understandable. The sensation of ripe fruit is balanced by a good underlying acidity, which makes this a harmonious and easy-drinking wine.Château Barbebelle Blanc goes well with fish and shellfish, but it will also be lovely with a pâté, with charcuterie, toasted bread with fresh cheese or a hearty salad.Served at approx. 8-10°.
