The powerful, refined nose is a marriage of red-berried fruit with elegant oak and strong hints of spice. The front-of-palate displays plump, creamy extract, the mid-palate revealing a balanced structure that gives this wine fine length. An excellent wine from an exceptional year. A few years’ patience will be required to taste it at its peakCritics’ Tasting Notes:.”Medium-bodied, fresh, chewy, bright red fruits with a touch of citrus and tobacco is fully ready-to-go for a easy-going, tasty, Left Bank blend. Domaines Uijttewaal, an estate also known for its production of Blonde d’Aquiaine meat. Terra Vitis.”88\/100 points, Jane Anson, INSIDE BORDEAUX, January 2023Also awarded GOLD at the Concours des Grands Vins de France Macon, 2022and 2 Stars (out of 3)by Le Guide Hachette des Vins, 2024The vineyard of Château Saint-Hilaire was created in 1982 in Jau Dignac Loirac, on deep, gravel soils overlooking the Gironde Estuary. Adrien Uijttewaal gradually expanded the estate to the neighbouring village of Queyrac, with its terroir of gravelly knolls and clay subsoil, by steadily planting new vines and the acquisition of vines of around 30 years in age. This excellent terroir yields wines with all the finesse and elegance typical of the Médoc appellation and which have been made on the estate, in a modern winemaking facility, only since 1995. Château Saint-Hilaire became a Cru Bourgeois with the revision of the classification in 2003.Food Match: Roast beef and Yorkshire puddingChateau Saint Hilaire, Cru Bourgeois Medoc, Bordeaux, France, 2020\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;","brand":"My Store","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45132099879094,"sku":"37243","price":5.53,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0727\/1251\/9862\/files\/chateausainthilairemedoc2020_37243_01_4ef6c5a7_6f12ccd7-fb45-4fd3-9e85-b1fc4b75be38.jpg?v=1779119708","url":"https:\/\/noblebottle.com\/products\/chateausainthilairemedoc2020-37243","provider":"noblebottle","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
