They turned to Whisky production. \u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Beginning on a shoestring budget, all of their production for decades went to \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Scotch blends. \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;But in 1990 the distillery was acquired by Burn Stewart—the fine gentlemen behind the resurrection of \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Bunnahabhain, Ledaig, Tobermory, \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;and more. Under their steady hands, \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Deanston \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;has risen from obscurity and now produces a range of single-malt offerings, including a fun \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;“Fill Your Own”\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; special edition only available on site.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Let’s give the folks at \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Deaston \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;a little wiggle-room here.
