Purchased by Champagne Louis Roederer in 2011, the Dach family vineyard prides itself on its limited production and classical wine making style. The cooling marine climate characteristic of this region provides ideal conditions for the cultivation of Pinot Noir grapes. All the wineswines are crafted with precision and care to express the uniqueness of the Anderson Valley terroir. ThePinot Noir is made from grapes sourced exclusively from wholly-ownedAnderson Valley vineyards, giving the teamcomplete control over farmingpractices and stewardship of the land.Vineyards:The 50 acres of Domaine Anderson vineyard wines span the Anderson Valley, from the warmer, up-Valley town of Boonville to the cooler regions closer to the Mendocino coast. They reside on the valley floor, on gently sloped knolls, and on steep hillsides, and offer soils ranging from rocky, river gravels to the finest clay loams. The Pinot Noir isproduced from grapes sourced exclusively from Estate ownedvineyards, allowing complete control over stewardship of the land.Winemaking:All the grapes that go into Roederer Estate wines are treated with extra care, and are guided by the Domainephilosophy of minimum intervention throughoutthe winemaking process. Hand-sorting and gentle extraction of the juices is followed by open topfermentation tanks which achieve precise extraction of flavours and colour, while slow malolacticfermentation defines structure and enhances the clarity of site-specific aromatics for our Pinot Noir. Thewine is then pressed with a hydraulic basket press. Thirty percent new oak is used for the 2013 vintage. In order torespect the fruit flavours and not dominate them, thewinemaking team carefully tracks development andmaturity, blending separate lots for an optimal flavour profile. This attentive barrel aging process, or élevage, results in wines that are rich and naturally complex. ThePinot Noir is aged for 16months to fully develop aromas and refine structure.Vintage Information:Harvest Start: September 02, 2014 Harvest End: September 24, 2014 Bottling Date: February 16, 2016Tasting Note:A chameleon in the glass, the 2013 Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir oscillates among aromas of black cherries, turned earth and cloves with hints of wood smoke. The black cherry is echoed on the pallet. Thefirm tannic core is enveloped in a satiny robe of black and red cherries and red plum skin flavours. Earthybark spice and exotic oak flavours intermingle with fresh fruits. Generous without heaviness, the wine issophisticated and confident.Food Pairing:Ideal with pasta dishes, roast chicken and charcuterieServing Suggestion:Serve at 12°CRegion Anderson Valley, CaliforniaGrape Varieties 100% Pinot Noir Closure Natural CorkAlcohol 12%Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir 2019 (6 x 75cl) – Champagne One\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;","brand":"My Store","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45131795660982,"sku":"33421","price":62.49,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0727\/1251\/9862\/files\/domaineandersonpinotnoir2019-6_33421_01_de3a8fd1_cce61872-b156-4cf6-9c66-aa4cbda31ce2.jpg?v=1779111800","url":"https:\/\/noblebottle.com\/products\/domaineandersonpinotnoir2019-6x75cl-33421","provider":"noblebottle","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
