Located in the geographical triangle formed by the Spanish cities of \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Jerez de la Frontera\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;, \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;El Puerto de Santa María\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; and \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Sanlúcar de Barrameda\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;, the winery enjoys a unique microclimate for wine production – which is especially important if you own Europe’s largest wine cellar. Innovation in the last decade brought them to the production of Rum. \u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Dos Maderas 5 + 3\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;, a double aged Rum, originates from aged Rum stocks of \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Barbados\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; and \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Guyana\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;. It is aged in two steps. First for 5 years in the Carribbean in \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;American oak casks\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;, and then finished for 3 years in the Spanish facilities of Bodegas Williams \u0026amp; Humbert in their \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Sherry casks\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; which previously held “\u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Dos Cortados” Palo Cortado Sherry\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;.
