In the 19th century a woman named \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Frances Elizabeth Willard\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; was elected President of the Chicago Christian Temperance Movement. She embarked on a decade-long crusade to prohibit alcohol in the US, and had succeeded. For over 100 years, Evanston remained a dry town. That is, until Mr. Hletko began lobbying the town that the antiquated laws were lifted. Coincidentally, FEW Spirits boasts the same initials as Frances E. Willard.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Matured in charred \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Minnesota Oak barrels,\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; this is a wonderfully unique \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;three-grain Bourbon.\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; Minnesota Oak barrels have a\u0026lt;em\u0026gt; tighter grain, \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;which gives a lot of character to the liquid inside. The presence of the three grains are felt throughout, with a \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;maltedness\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; that lasts from \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;nose to finish\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;.
