And cold brew coffee, although present in Japan for hundreds of years, has been going through a\u0026lt;em\u0026gt; proper renaissance\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; lately. A quick reminder for the uninitiated: Cold brew is coffee that has been slowly seeped in room-temperature water over a period of \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;12-24\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; hours. The bright forward-thinking lads at Jameson had the \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;bold idea\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; of fusing the two together and the end result is \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Jameson Cold Brew\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;, a \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;coffee-infused\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; Whiskey. It’s \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;more than just flavoring\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;, though, as each shot contains a hefty 17mg dose of caffeine, approximately half of what you’d down in a regular cup of espresso.
