Mainly aged in American ex-Bourbon barrels, which impart creamy sweetness, it is then aged for 12 months in fresh sherry barrels (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso) to enrich its spicy character. A small percentage of very old Enmore rum is finally added to the blend for a touch of further complexity.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Aroma: Dark, musky, very rich in esters (fermented fruit and glue), with notes of cola, myrtle and bergamot tea. Palate: Viscous, rich in sugar cane molasses. Dark chocolate, coffee, sultanas and in the background a toasted and slightly bitter hint with notes of herbs (black tea and gentian). Dark and sweet at the same time. Finish: Eternal continuation of contrasting notes of bitter herbs and sugary sweetness.
