By no means however is this the case of a small fish in a big pond. Dufftown is \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;the third biggest distillery owned by Diageo \u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;and a large volume of their malts contribute to popular Whisky blends such as Johnnie Walker.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Luckily the Singleton branding has allowed the single malt expressions of Dufftown to survive and we have managed to get our hands on some \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;exclusive single malt varieties\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; from the distillery. This\u0026lt;em\u0026gt; 18 year-old\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; has built on the success of its younger 12 and 15 year-old counterparts to create a malty Speyside classic packed with juicy fruit and a spicy finish. Given the history of the distillery this is a very reasonably priced dram and \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;one of the oldest Dufftown expressions\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; you can easily get your hands on.
