The mammoth LT Group purchased the entire operation in 1988, which still produces some of \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;the most popular Spirits\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; in Southeast Asia. \u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;The process to create \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;Tanduay Double Rum\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; can be a little confusing, but stay with us.\u0026lt;\/p\u0026gt;\u0026lt;p\u0026gt;Tanduay takes their \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;multi-award-winning five year-old Rum\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; and blends it with their\u0026lt;em\u0026gt; rarest casks of sixteen year-old Rum\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt;. After vatting, the blend is put back into the barrels for an \u0026lt;em\u0026gt;additional two years\u0026lt;\/em\u0026gt; of aging.
