<p>The Verzy Grand Cru is located on the slope of the Montagne de Reims, Southeast of the town of Reims. Most of the vineyards are on north-facing slopes and are planted mainly to Pinot Noir. Verzy was promoted from Premier Cru to Grand Cru in 1985 alongside Chouilly, Oiry, Oger, and Mesnilsur-Oger.</p>
