<p>Located directly in front of the winery, at 450 meters, the southwest-facing Vigna del Sorbo vineyard is planted atop Galestro soils in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, only a few hundred meters from the town of Panzano. First produced in 1985, Vigna del Sorbo started off as a Riserva, where it was then one of the first wines promoted to a Gran Selezione in 2009 when the new designation in Chianti Classico was introduced.</p>
