<p>Since the day we started producing wines back in 2001 the grapes from this contrada were always a bit more expensive than other areas and the reputation has always been high. In cold and difficult vintages the structure of the soil with many smaller rocks, can give an advantage in absorbing warmth and radiating this during the colder evening hours. The wines are generally more feminine combining elegance and in the best cases the wines are profound.</p>
