<p>100% Pinot Noir</p><p>“Very chalky, not much topsoil, south facing single vineyard of “Goutte d’Or”” planted in 2001 in the village of Fontaine-sur-Aÿ (lieu-dit La Goutte d’Or”). Southern exposure.Very chalky soil.</p><p>Practicing organic; manual harvest and stringent grape selection in search of perfectly ripe grapes.</p><p>Direct press and selection of the first juices; cold settling for 12 to 24 hours without enzymes before alcoholic fermentation to extract more aromas, then the juice is put into barrels. Fermentation in barrels with frequent lees stirring and regular topping up. Partial malolactic fermentation.</p><p>8 months oak aging, no fining just a light filtration then bottled with a natural cork and aged in the cellar until disgorgement (40 months minimum). 2g/l dosage; disgorgement December 2024</p><p>The most generous of the Tellier Champagnes, the Goutte d’Or is a rich and ample expression of Pinot Noir, with deep and unctuous notes hazelnut, mint and thyme. And long and memorable finish with faint tannins that promise a long life ahead.</p>
