<p>Per Una Volta #2 is the result of a desire to take care of the vineyard planted in the garden of the castle of San Martino Valle Caudina, a medieval fortress that originally belonged to the Pignatelli della Leonessa family. It is a white wine made from Coda di Volpe. The grapes were macerated on their skins for 30 days in a small concrete barrel. The wine was aged for two years in concrete and then for just under one year in bottle before release. 444 bottles were produced.</p><p>Neighbors and buddies with our friend Marco Tinessa (Ognostro). The winery is located in San Martino Valle Caudina in the province of Avellino known for winemaking, especially the Fiano grape. It’s a small village an hour North-East of Naples.</p>
