<p>From steep, dry-farmed bush vines in the heart of the Itata Valley—some planted 200 + years ago—the VeraSolís País is made by winemakers Ronald Vera and Pablo Solís. Farming is fully organic, with hand-harvested grapes from granite and sandy-clay soils on slopes that face the Pacific and receive coastal breezes. In the cellar: 100 % País varietal, fermenting spontaneously with native yeasts in stainless steel with a small proportion (10%) whole-clusters, then aged ~6 months in very-used French oak barrels, with very low sulfur at bottling. </p>
