<p>Starting with the 2018 vintage, the domaine chose to blend the 1er Cru Fourneaux into the village wine and it’s now labeled Savigny-les-Beaune Fournaux, after the site. The Villages level has always come from the Fournaux parcel, which sits just next to the 1er Cru. Claude and François like how the Villages and 1er Cru tastes blended, giving the village level wine more density and complexity. Fermented with 100% whole clusters and aged in barrel for 18 months, 10% new oak.</p>
