<p>Sourced from 1.6 hectares of assorted parcels, mostly in Inferno and Sassella. From a diverse mixture of sand, gravel, and rocky soils formed as the Adda river cut through the region’s hard, granite mountains. The steep, hillside plots are only held in place by stone walls and terraces that require constant maintenance. Fruit is hand harvested from vines with an average age of 60 years, fermented in steel tanks for 15-30 days and aged for seven to eight months in 500-600L casks.</p>
