<p>The young-vine red Partida Pedrè Negre is pure Garnacha from a shadowed and north-facing vineyard on llicorella slate terraces. It fermented with full clusters and indigenous yeasts in an open-top that was closed for seven days, and when it was full of carbonic gas, the clusters were foot trodden day for four or five days, after which it was pressed and finished fermenting without skins. It matured in a 60-liter concrete egg. The grapes for the red and rosé were picked at the same time, still crunchy, and the wine has a different profile from previous vintages.</p>
