<p>From the high, stony upper slope of Montagne Saint-Christophe—one of Meursault’s cooler, wind-exposed zones—Rougeot vinifies this cuvée entirely <em>sans soufre</em>, leaning on pristine farming and reductive élevage for stability. Native-yeast fermentation and aging in mostly neutral barrels keep the focus on site: citrus oil, white peach, struck-flint reduction, and a firm limestone core. The 2023 shows vibrant acidity and fine phenolic grip, finishing long, salty, and chiseled.</p>
