<p>Pinot Noir</p><p>Vineyard Area: The Chassagne Rouge comes from gently sloped vines in Les Battaudes near Santenay (first planted in 1961).</p><p>Soil: Deep clay-limestone soils</p><p>Elevation: 225 meters</p><p>Exposure: Southeast</p><p>Vinification: Manual harvest, no added yeasts or enzymes, cold and very slow fermentations (late-occurring Malo)</p><p>Maturation: 18 months in barrels of previous wines, fined and filtered only when necessary</p><p>Wines arrive mid-to-late November, 2025.</p>
