<p>VINEYARD The 2021 Mirabai Pinot Noir was all sourced from the Dundee Hills AVA – 70% Weber Vineyard Pommard vines that are own rooted and planted in 1983 and 30% Maresh Vineyard Pommard vines that are own rooted and planted between 1978-1991. SOIL Red volcanic and alluvial soils VITICULTURE Farmed using organic and biodynamic practices VINIFICATION The two lots were fermented using all native yeast and about 30% whole clusters in small 1 -1.5 ton lots for 12-20 days. All cap management is manual and no pump-overs are employed. The wines are pressed at dryness, settled and put to barrel for native, malolactic fermentation. AGING Aged in neutral, French oak barrels for 10 months</p>
