<p>2023 Sylvain Cathiard Aux Malconsorts, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru (Côte de Nuits, France). From a small, upper-slope holding on the La Tâche side of the climat, on very shallow limestone with red clay and stones; farming is organic in practice. The fruit is hand-harvested, strictly sorted, and 100% destemmed after ~8–10 days of cold maceration, then fermented 10–20 days with indigenous yeasts with gentle cap work and no SO₂ before malolactic. Élevage runs 15–18 months in barrel with roughly two-thirds new oak, and bottling is done without fining and with only a light filtration. </p>
