<p>2023 Sylvain Cathiard En Orveaux, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru (Côte de Nuits, France). From a 0.293-ha parcel planted in 1953 at the cool, east–northeast mouth of the Combe d’Orveau beside Echézeaux, on very shallow, stony limestone with marl; farming is organic in practice. The fruit is hand-harvested, strictly sorted, and 100% destemmed after ~10 days of cold maceration, then fermented 10–20 days with indigenous yeasts with no SO₂ before malolactic. Élevage runs 15–18 months in barrel with roughly 60–67% new oak, and bottling is done without fining and with only a light filtration.</p>
