<p><i>Our entry level Chardonnay from loess soil from plots south of Staufen and the Kaiserstuhl, just in front of the Black Forrest. Pressed as whole cluster and fermented in used barrels from different size, made in the same exact style as the Weissburgunders – they do not want to be annoying with stylistic changes – instead try to have the plot and grape be the direction and voice. Aged for one year on the full lees in barrel and another half year in stainless steel on its entire lees.</i></p>
