<p><i>Mosel Fine Wines: “The 2024 Schonfels N°11, as it is referred to on the central part of the label (GG is written top left), is a fully bone-dry wine (with less than 1 g/l of residual sugar) made with fruit harvested on this steep south-east facing hill overseeing the Saar (legally part of the Ayler Kupp vineyard). This cask sample initially proves quite primary and intensely smoky, and only gradually reveals a refined nose of spices, herbal tea, smoke, ginger, white pepper, aniseed, and almond syrup. The wine has good presence and a light creamy texture, yet the finish is superbly focused and precise, with just a hint of presence and intensity. This is a superb GG in the making.”</i></p>
