<p>Certified Biodynamic & Organic. This is a new wine as it is a blend of 60% Syrah from our home ranch, Bassi and 40% Grenache from a young block at Bassi, blended with Grenache from Rancho Arroyo Grande by Lopez Lake in the southern point of the SLO Coast AVA. The two varieties were co-fermented, the Syrah was kept 100% whole cluster and the Grenache was fully destemmed onto the top of the fermentation. The grapes fermented with native yeast for 3 weeks and then were pressed in our wooden basket press. The wine aged in neutral French oak barrels for 10 months and a small amount of sulfur was added at bottling to capture the energy of the wine. 168 cases were produced.</p>
