<p> ADMIRAL RODNEY RUM HMS ROYAL OAK (70CL, 40.0% Vol.)</p><p> It is named after one of the ships used during the Battle of the Saints. The production process involves, after a long fermentation of the molasses in open tanks with native yeasts, distillation in column and discontinuous stills. For aging, American oak barrels previously used for Bourbon Whisky, Sherry or Cognac are used. Bright amber color on the nose, it smells of plums, raisins, toasted oak and tropical spices. On the palate, intense hints of sweet sultanas, tobacco, chocolate and vanilla are enhanced in a complex and persistent finish. Only after maturation, of 7-12 years, does the blending proceed.</p>
