<p>Appealing aromas of citrus fruit and white flower with a touch of white spice. The palate has more citrus characters with hints of orchard and stone fruits. Crisp, refreshing acidity balances underlying minerality.</p><p>The Alasia name (and label design) is taken from the legend of the Medieval Princess Alasia who eloped with a young Saxon knight and hid out in the Monferrato region. The remains of the Ca’ d’Alasia (where they allegedly lived) is situated near Castel Boglione. A modern elegant Gavi – textural, concentrated and food-friendly.</p><p>The Cortese grapes are sourced from vineyards in the Gavi region, with limestone-clay soils. Grapes are hand harvested typically in the last week of September. The wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel.</p><p>A good partner for summer salads, fish dishes and white meats.</p>
