<p>Amaro extra strong Roger by Vecchio Magazzino Doganale (70CL, 25.0% Vol.)His friend Roger immediately appears complex, intense, decisive and full of character. Even though it is a well-selling product, I maintain that it is not for everyone. The olfactory sensations focus a lot on dark notes, such as cinchona bark, earth, fermented chamomile, light spicy hints, leather, and balsamic notes. In the most remote background you can perceive sensations of seaweed, caramelized banana, candied pineapple and citrus peel. The sip is warm but supported by an acidic vein which makes it very pleasant to drink. Consistent with the nose, indeed I would say too consistent, the olfactory aftertaste focuses a lot on these dark, intense, captivating and very pleasant notes. As the seconds pass, the secrets and the explosion of the bittering herbs behind this great work emerge. Definitely bitter finish, a bitterness that dies on a savory/balsamic trail, as if to recall a pharmaceutical product.</p>
