<p>Everything you love about Single Malt.</p><p>John Morrison found a patch of land rich with barley, Highland spring water, and shallow bogs of dry peat. He smartly grasped the opportunity and bought the <em>Knock Estate</em> from the Duke of Fife, giving <em>birth to the Knockdhu distillery in 1894</em>. With time the methods of production have changed, but their dedication to quality has not. Today they produce a wide range of Single Malts of various styles, ages, and special editions.</p><p>AnCnoc 18 YO is sublime. There is just no other way to describe it. It has all the <em>classic elements of Highland Single Malt</em> in one dram … a bit of spice, and bit of sweet, a bit of fruit and some natural peat.</p><p>And they age it in a combination of <em>Spanish Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks </em>for a full <em>18 years</em>. Bottled without any artificial colors or flavors at a full 46% ABV, there is enough lovely flavor and full-bodied taste to spare.
