<p>A beautiful copper-gold in the glass, there are flavours of orange marmalade and pink grapefruit flecked with sage, spices and an enlivening pith-y acidity. This orange wine blends pink-skinned Trebbiano Rosa from clay soils with Malvasia di Candia from volcanic slopes, plus a parcel of Trebbiano. Co-fermented with eight days on skins before resting in steel and bottled with no additions, it shows good weight.</p><p>Winemaker Antonio Gismondi returned to his family’s biodynamic vineyards in Cerreto Sannita in 2018, shifting from restaurant life to produce natural wines guided by a simple philosophy: grapes only.
