<p> Arran Port finish – 50%</p><p><p> After a few years of maturation in traditional barrels, this Arran single malt was selected by James McTaggart to then be transferred to some barrels that had contained Port. Not cold filtered and not coloured, it is bottled at a reduced alcohol content of 50% to maintain the concentration of aromas and flavours. </p></p><p>TASTING NOTES: </p><p>Aroma: Vanilla and ripe citrus fruits, dried fruit. By adding a few drops of water, the mandarin manifests itself together with candy and sugar. </p><p>Palate: Combination of fruit slices and spices with cinnamon, baked apple competing with grape and plum cake. It then opens to reveal barley and a hint of sweet pear. </p><p>Final: Enveloping. </p><p>
