<p>A blend of twenty-three Golden Rums created by a cocktail-making legend.</p><p>Banks Rum was founded by legendary bartender <em>Jim Meehan</em>. He ran a trendy bar in New York City in the East Village called PDT. He went on to win a<em> James Beard Award</em> for beverages — an impressive accomplishment. But the point is, this guy knows his stuff. And he took all that knowledge to found Banks Rum in <em>2008</em> — named after the famous explorer and botanist<em> Dir Joseph Banks</em>. He has partnered with master blender Arnaud de Trabuc to create a <em>signature line of premium Rums</em>.</p><p><em>Banks 7 </em>is a blend of twenty-three Golden Rums from eight distilleries across seven Tropical nations — Guatemala, Barbados, Jamaica, Panama, Barbados, Guyana, and Java. The Rums <em>vary in age</em> from one to eight years-old, with each Spirit helping to shape the unique character of the whole. The result is <em>complex </em>and a bit dry without too much sweetness. </p>
