<p> Baron de Sigognac XO Platinum Armagnac (70CL, 40.0% Vol.) </p><p> Baron de Sigognac excellent XO Platinum Armagnac. Produced by the Guasch family, who grow both Baco and Ugni Blanc grapes in the Bas-Armagnac region. </p><p> The oak is French, generally coming from the forests of Gascogne. The wood will give the Armagnac its tannins and aromatic substances, the vanilla aroma and the beautiful amber color. The Armagnac remains in these new barrels until the cellar master transfers it to older barrels, to perfect and balance the aging. As the years pass, the alcohol content decreases through natural evaporation. The result is an Armagnac with an amber and golden color, complex and powerful on the nose, with floral and fruity notes. In the mouth it is well balanced, with a sweet vanilla flavour. </p><p>
