It was created in <em>1986 </em>by <em>International Distillers & Vintners</em> which was part of the mega-merger that created Diageo. Diageo sold the brand to Bacardi in 1997 where it has been raised to flagship status. The entire line of Gins is still produced in England by the famous <em>G&J Greenhall</em> — long makers of some of the world’s best Gins — in a new, purpose-built facility and visitor center in Whitchurch, Hampshire.</p><p><em>Bombay Sapphire Sunset Special Edition Gin</em> is more than a limited edition is a collectable bottle. A its core it’s still<em> classic Bombay</em>. That means that it’s been distilled three times in a Carterhead still and contains the same famous infusions of<em> ten botanicals</em> — juniper berries, almond, lemon zest, licorice, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise. But this edition is designed to reflect a warmer, even glowing flavor profile so it adds Indian white cardamum, turmeric, and sun-dried Murcian mandarin zest.</p><p><u>Smartass Corner:</u><em>Murcia is a city and region in southwestern Spain — midway between Valencia and Málaga in the hills above the coast.
