Perfectly positioned between North and South America and flanked by the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, Guatemala is a land rich in biodiversity and diverse ecosystems. It also happens to have enriched volcanic soils and an ideal climate for growing sugarcane, the raw material of Botran Premium rum. The altitude and cooler temperature limit evaporation so that rums can adopt their individual flavor profiles. Making “high-rum” in this way is a unique art that has been carefully preserved and enriched over the years. For over six decades Botran has been crafting rum in this great Guatemalan tradition.
