<p>A soft and approachable craft Bourbon.</p><p>When a<em> Scotsman moves to the United States</em>, only one thing can happen. The Scotsman starts making a peated American Whiskey. At least this was the case of<em> Alastair Brogan</em> who moved to the States to pursue his dream of making fine Whiskey. Barley, yeast, water, oak, and the<em> pursuit of happiness</em>, he says. Founding a small Colorado Whiskey company, the Boulder Spirits guys have big dreams, even bigger goals, and the biggest pot still in the<em> Cowboy State</em>. Their range includes American Single Malt Whiskeys, Bourbons, and Gins, all made in their unique way that brings <em>new flavors to old traditions.</em></p><p>Like their other Spirits,<em> Boulder Spirits Straight Bourbon</em> is made in the picturesque town of <em>Boulder </em>in Colorado. This unique liquid has the highest malted barley content of any Bourbon recipe at 44%. The other part is 51% corn and 5% rye. Pot distilled and aged in the dry Colorado climate, this creates a soft and approachable Bourbon with flavors of apple butter, cinnamon, and kettle corn notes. It earned <em>Double Gold</em> at the prestigious<em> San Francisco Spirits Challenge</em>. One of their first Whiskeys, this one’s been a favorite since its beginning. </p>
