<p>A fire-breathing dragon? While this Gin’s ginger addition brings some heat, it’s just the right amount to leave its balance intact. </p><p>Why would you name your company <em>“Broken Bones”?</em> The distillery was founded in Slovenia by <em>Boštjan Marušič, Borut Osojnik, </em>and <em>Polona Preskar.</em> They hadn’t named their fledgling business yet and were filling barrels of Whisky for aging. Boštjan and Borut had both just come from the hospital because one had broken a leg and the other his nose. As they tell it, the bones healed but the name stuck. They produce a <em>tidy range of five Gins and a couple of Whiskies</em> using custom-made stills in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.</p><p>The green dragon is the symbol of <em>Ljubljana</em>, featured on its Coat of Arms. This Gin pays tribute to its home town with a touch of fiery ginger heat. Fueling it all is the same award-winning London Dry Gin that has brought these guys several awards. No need to worry, though. Despite all the fire-breathing imagery, it’s an <em>exceptionally well-balanced Spirit </em>with that beautiful juniper-forward and floral base shining just as bright. And just like its brethren, this Gin has <em>plenty of awards </em>to show for it.</p>
