This is a blended Irish whiskey – specifically a blend of single malt and column-distilled grain whiskeys, triple distilled in true Irish fashion. On the nose there is sweet caramel and light honey, with a lovely drop of green apple and summer fruits. The palate has light grain character, combining a rich, smooth warmth, with light rye spices.
