<p>Ripe stone fruit aromas with hints of barley sugar and a lightly herbal note. Peach and lemon zest characters on the palate, gently honeyed, and finishing with fresh citrus acidity.</p><p>A ripe, versatile and approachable dry white from western Sicily. Catarratto is the most planted white grape here, producing both Marsala and dry white wines. Catarratto thrives in the warmer Sicilian climate, to produce characterful and aromatic whites.</p><p>This wine is a blend of fruit sourced from the Marsala area on the west coast of Sicily, and from high altitude hillside vineyards near Alcamo. Gentle pressing, cool, slow fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts. The wine was bottled young after a short period of ageing on fine lees in stainless steel.</p><p>Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany seafood, grilled fish, salads and cold white meats.</p>
