<p>The classic Rock ‘N’ Roll Tequila rested in American oak casks in smooth and spicy harmony. </p><p>The <em>Destiladora San Nicolas</em> is located in Los Altos — the Highlands of Jalisco Mexico. The deep red, volcanic soil and high altitude has long been considered the best climate for producing great Weber Blue Agave. They were founded in <em>1996</em>, growing quickly by producing their own San Nicolas brand of Tequilas. In 2008 they were purchased by the <em>Campari Group</em>. Now, nearly all production goes into Cabo Wabo and their own El Espolòn line of Tequilas.</p><p>All<em> Cabo Wabo Tequilas</em> are made from 100% Weber Blue Agave custom crafted in Los Altos using <em>traditional </em>roasting, fermentation, and distilling methods as they have for generations. <em>Cabo Wabo Tequila Reposado </em>is aged for four to six months in <em>American oak casks </em>yielding the light golden color and warm herbal and earthy notes Tequila lovers are looking for.</p><p><u>Smartass Corner:</u><em>Cabo Wabo Tequila was founded by Rock ‘N’ Roll legend Sammy Hagar. He vacationed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and ended up buying a bar there along with the Van Halen Brothers. He bought them out and went on to develop a house Tequila which took off. He sold 80% of the company to Campari in 2007.</em></p>
