Part of the red wine ferments with the stems, which gives the wine spice and complexity. Gentle punch downs reintroduce the cap of skins to the fermenting wine, for ideal extraction of colour, flavour, and tannin, while ageing in new French oak enhances complexity. The finished wine offers characteristic black cherry aromas and fresh raspberry and bright strawberry flavours supported by silky tannins.TASTING NOTESAn attractive raspberry-crimson colour leads to sweet black cherry, raspberry, dried rose petal and violet blossom aromas. Fresh raspberry and bright strawberry flavours are concentrated, yet balanced, in this pretty, floral wine.
