<p>Can XA Brut Cava, Penedes, Catalonia, SpainGrapes: A traditional blend of Macabeo, Xarelo and Parellada, bottle fermented, 2g/L residual sugar (very dry)A pale gold colour with emerald nuances, exhibiting a delicate string of fine bubbles. It has a primary nose of soft, woody tones with citrus notes. The palate has fine acidity with soft bubbles and, in the mouth, it is rounded and elegant exhibiting sweet fruits finishing dry with flavours of almonds.The Can Xa winery is located in the Castellet and Gornal area of Penedes. The vineyard consists of 48 hectares of clay soil, low in organic material and chalk but with a high magnesium content which brings the acidity necessary to maintain the fresh taste of this Cava.This “traditional method” sparkling wine is ideal to accompany oily fish, meat dishes, fresh pastas, all varieties of mushrooms, sausages and escargots.
