<p>El Islay Clasico.</p><p>The Caol Ila Distillery was founded in 1846 by Hector Handerson on the Isle of Islay, in a location overlooking the strait <em>between Islay and Jura</em>, hence the name which derived from Gaeliec Caol Ìle, meaning <em>Sound of Islay</em> or literary, Islay Strait. Over the years Caol Ila has changed owners numerous times, eventually it became a part of Diageo.</p><p><em>The Caol Ila 25 Year Old</em> was aged for 25 years and bottled at 43% ABV. <em>Extremely good value</em> for a 25 year old Islay Scotch.</p><p>Oh, and it’s pronounced <em>cull-eela</em>.</p><p>*This bottle is a collector’s item; we will not be able to entertain any refunds or exchanges.</p><p>**Individual orders are limited to one item per person, as we wish to give everyone the opportunity to participate.</p><p>***Any kind of transit damage is insured and will be reimbursed.</p>
