<p>A noble Spirit from the famed Brandy de Jerez area.</p><p>The history of the <em>Sanchez Romate</em> bodega goes all the way back to <em>1781 </em>when it was founded by <em>Juan Sánchez Latorre in the Spanish city of Cádiz</em>. Remarkably, the entire operation is still in family hands. The bodega supports several brands, including their flagship Cardenal Mendoza line of solera-aged Brandy and six other exclusive Spirits.</p><p>In 1887, they started to make a<em> unique Brandy</em> that was just for the family’s consumption. The word got out soon, though, and they decided to start selling it under the name <em>Cardenal Mendoza.</em> This one-of-a-kind Brandy was aged in Sherry casks for at least 15 years on average, which is way more than the legal minimum. Rich and complex, it’s<em> aged Solera Gran Reserva style</em>. If you’re looking for a noble Spirit that’s made with time-honored methods, this is your dram. </p>
